Decorative and practical set of late Georgian steel fire-place tools with decoratively-cast brass handles with strap-work and leaf decoration.
Comprising of a hinged pair of tongs , a poker and a shovel with shaped and decoratively pierced blade.
A set of period fire-irons of sophisticated design in excellent original and serviceable condition , have been sympathetically cleaned and polished , providing a pleasing contrast between the steel and brass elements.
