Finely carved pair of early C20th Italian carved giltwood display brackets or corbels.
Highly decorative and excellent quality pair of carved giltwood wall display brackets . The pair carved with classically-inspired acanthus leaf and scroll detail , the tapering bodies supporting a rectangular display shelf with a beaded edge.
Each fitted with original triangular wire hanging loops .
Superb miniature-scale pair of period style corbels for displaying 'objets de virtu' or porcelain.
In excellent original condition, with fine gilding and patina.
