Description

Pair of late C19th/ early C20th Edwardian period Sheraton-revival carved satinwood stools .
Smart pair of oblong stools raised on turned and carved legs in the manner of the C18th designer and cabinet-maker Thomas Sheraton.
The channeled-edge frames with square blocks with carved circular motif to each corner . The turned and tapering legs with carved reeded details, with a ring , terminating in rounded feet .
The upholstered tops with recent neutral coloured grid pattern fabric covers with some minor marks and wear , would perhaps benefit from re-covering . Could be covered in client's choice of fabric at the cost of the labour .
Good decorative and practical pair of useful-scale stools , would add symmetry to an interior scheme . Would work equally well in a drawing room or bedroom setting .
In excellent strong condition with no damage, breaks or repairs.
