Late C19th George III period style inlaid mahogany urn stand.
Well-executed C18th style mahogany oval topped urn stand in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. Incorporating an C18th oval mahogany segmented veneered and finely cross-banded top with a central inlaid satinwood fan . The lower frieze surround also with a cross-banded edge . Raised on square , fluted and tapering legs with collared terminals , all joined with a turned crossed stretcher support .
The tops of the legs with well-carved Chinese-Chippendale style spandrel brackets . The legs with a good splayed angle or rake , providing good stability .
A good small-scale table or stand of excellent quality and patina., offering period style elegance .
