Late C19th Chinese Qing Dynasty carved hardwood 2-tier centre table of freestanding design.
Elegant Chinese centre or side table of finely-drawn scale and proportions. Supported on shaped and carved legs with stylised lotus carved feet .
The friezes with pierced and finely-carved detail. The top with a 'floating' centre cleated-edge panel of well-selected huali timber with some knots and figuring. The lower tier with a chamfered or bevelled edge .
Superb quality table throughout, with a rich , original patination and colour . The top with minor ring marks and stains commensurate with age, use and purpose.
Good strong and sturdy condition with no movement to the frame.
Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
