Late C19th life-size bronze bust study of the 'Venus de Medici' .
Interesting large bronze sculpture depicting the head and shoulders of the full-length classical sculpture of the statue from antiquity, known as the 'Venus de Medici' .
The goddess is depicted with her head turned to sinister or left , with her hair tied in a ribbon .
Good detailed casting with a rich dark patination displaying green hues to some areas.
An impressive scale classical bronze sculpture with great decorative presence.
