Description

Early C19th George IV period rosewood circular pedestal table of outstanding quality.
Circular top rosewood wine , lamp or occasional table raised on a facetted vase-shaped column of swollen form . The tri-form concave-sided platform base with chamfered or bevelled edge detail. The whole raised on shaped scroll feet with original concealed brass castors beneath .
The circular top with a recessed shallow frieze edge . The strikingly-figured rosewood top with it's original rich patina, colour and polished finish . Has one small historic scratch to the surface.
A smart table in excellent condition of practical proportions.
