Description

Early C19th French Empire cast lead bronzed roundel of Napoleon Bonaparte.
Patinated as bronze , a cast lead profile roundel of Napoleon Bonaparte as Emperor of France . Depicted wearing a laurel wreath , or 'Corona Civitas' ,recalling the Emperors of the ancient Roman Empire.

The moulded edge of the roundel fitted with a hanging ring to the top .
Well cast details, with some rubbing and loss to the bronzed patination, and minor dents to the edges .
