Pair of 'matched' late C18th George III period mahogany fold-over tea tables of elegant design .
Useful matched pair of mahogany tables of restrained and elegant design. Minor differences in proportion, but essentially a pair of tables .
The rectangular hinged fold-over tops each of a good rich colour and patina, with minor colour variation. Raised on tapering square section legs , and a rear gate-action leg to support the folding open top . Each table with box-wood strung detail, and each fitted with a practical end drawer .
In good original condition with minor historic repairs and some ring marks and stains to the tops . Minor historic evidence of non-active woodworm in rear rail has been re-treated. Have been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
A good quality pair of tables to add elegance and symmetry to a period setting.
