Pair of late C19th/early C20th George III style mahogany beside tables or night-stands.
Good quality and useful pair of square two-tier mahogany tables of restrained elegant design, each fitted with a single drawer. Well-made faithful copies of late C18th George III period tables in a superb grade of solid mahogany which has achieved a rich colour and patina . Of free-standing form , finished and polished on all sides.
The tables raised on square-section supports with an inside leg chamfer , the friezes of shaped and fretted design . The hand-made dove-tailed mahogany-lined drawers each fitted with a quality cast brass period style 'axe-head' design handle .
In excellent original condition with no damage, repairs , marks or staining.
