Description

Early C20th carved walnut oblong dressing stool of George II design .
Good large-scale stool raised on well-carved walnut cabriole legs with 'ball and claw' feet. Excellent period style shell carving to the knees and superb pale period style patina.
Recently covered in a calico top cover ready for re-covering in a fabric of client's choice . Has been re-webbed also.
An excellent copy of an important early Georgian walnut stool , in strong , sturdy condition.
