Early C20th Chinese lacquer coffee or reception room table with decorated carved 'soapstone' relief panel top.
Highly decorative Chinese black lacquer and gilded low coffee table of rectangular waisted form ,raised on shaped square-section supports with gilded feet.
The top decorated with finely carved and applied soapstone decoration, featuring birds , flowers and foliage.
Covered with a removable and rebated /inset glass top .
In excellent condition, with aged lacquer finish and atmospheric rubbing to gilded highlights.
