Pair of late C19th Chinese Cantonese porcelain vases.
Highly decorative pair of "Famille Rose" palette enamel painted 'bottle' vases of good scale . Typical decoration featuring central multi figure court scenes , interspersed with floral and motif symbol decoration. The shoulders with moulded applied lizard decoration ( some loss of gold to gilding) and the tall necks with applied guardian lion dog decoration ( some minor historic damage to one dog) .
Excellent pair of brightly-decorated porcelain vases , which would also make striking lamp bases.
