Early C20th South -East Asian lacquer-work and polychrome decorated seated Horei figure.
Amusing and highly decorative Thai or Chinese lacquer work figure with brightly painted polychrome decoration . Seated upon a plinth or Dias , the benignly smiling figure is depicted in opulent attire holding a ruyi sceptre in one hand and gifts or money in the other.
Some minor losses to decoration and surface commensurate with age.
