Description

Good larger scale late C19th/early C20th Indian carved teak 'elephant' table.
Circular-topped carved teak elephant-head leg support occasional or lamp table. The top having been intricately carved to a very high standard of quality and has achieved a deep rich patina . Richly carved floral band to the border , centre carved with a floral roundel design. The rim of the table also with carved detail .
The triple elephant head and carved trunk supports each fitted with carved bone tusks . The heads with carved caparisoned detail and features , together with detailed carved ears .
In excellent original colour . Superior quality and grade of teak .
