Pair of late C19th Chinese Qing Dynasty carved 'hongmu' octagonal marble top jardiniere stands or wine/end tables.
Well-carved and useful pair of low carved hardwood tables with with inset rouge/pink marble tops . The octagonal tops with carved bead edges and carved flower-head borders . Raised on quadruple shaped supports with carved mythical beast head detail, terminating in carved claw feet.
The supports joined with shaped stretchers beneath.
The shaped friezes with crisply carved prunus flower detail .
In good original condition with a rich patination. No cracks or breaks to the marble inset tops .
