Late C19th 'scagliola' simulated marble circular pedestal jardiniere/centre-piece.
Highly decorative gadrooned-body bowl with roll-over lip edge , raised on a turned and dished pedestal foot.
Well simulated and figured marble design with aged finish .
The interior of the bowl with some fading/ water marks , having probably been used as a plant jardiniere. Minor chips to edges, commensurate with age , use and purpose.
Could be used equally as well in an interior or exterior scheme with dramatic effect .
