C19th Italian 'Grand Tour' souvenir oblong specimen marble paper-weight. Smart desk-top black marble paper-weight inlaid with coloured marble and hardstone oval specimens. The edge framed with a 'Marmo Giallo' yellow line border.
The specimens include malachite ,lapis lazuli and assorted exotic marbles , alabasters and hard-stones.
The back lined with old green baize , though heavily worn.
