Late C19th / early C20th Edwardian period satinwood occasional table . Elegant satinwood veneered occasional or lamp table . Well-figured satinwood 'book-matched' veneered oval top ,with box-wood string inlay throughout. The base with 'interlaced' ovoid design stretcher with conforming line inlay, raised on square section tapering legs with splayed bottoms .
Cross-grain veneered edge and line-inlaid friezes.
The top with a small area of historic water staining to the original polish finish .
A useful scale well-drawn table of elegant proportions and design .
