Description

Late C19th/early C20th late Qing Dynasty Chinese hardwood low 'kang' or 'opium' type table. Very smart low Chinese "hongmu" / rosewood coffee table of free-standing form . Well-carved Chinese 'key' pattern stepped frieze and slightly splayed legs with 'ruyi' design carved detail to the feet, joined by stretchers .
Excellent grade of timber, having obtained a good rich colour and patina.
Useful low coffee/reception room table of practical proportions and stylish design.
Cleaned and waxed, no damage or repairs.
