Description

Pair of mid C19th English cast-iron garden or terrace vases. Good pair of classical design 'campana' shaped garden urns. Detachable 'egg-and-dart' cast rims onto fluted bodies with gadroon bases onto a spreading foot with a square plinth .
Appear to have original black paint finish and have not suffered from any subsequent paint layers, therefore showing good definition of casting. No breaks, cracks or damage , some rusting as to be expected.
Would work equally well outdoors or in, excellent hall-way or orangery feature.
Probably made in Coalbrookdale, Shropshire.
