Description

Late C19th Chinese 'Qing' Dynasty circular hardwood occasional table. Of circular tray-top form, 2-piece joined top with double carved simulated bamboo edge. Raised upon a carved 4 legged shaped-support base ,carved with simulated bamboo decoration and decorative brackets. Originally hinged ,folding base and detachable top which is now fixed (could be re-instated). Good rich colour, constructed from quality hardwood 'hongmu' timber .
