Late C19th Asian bronze study of a caparisoned elephant. Partial/parcel gilt decoration to ceremonially-dressed walking cast-bronze elephant .Integrally cast tusks ,together with nicely modelled tail, trunk ,ears and eye detail. Some wear to gilded decoration commensurate with age ,and minor casting flaws. L 20" x H 14" x D 8". Thailand or Burma c. 1900.
