C18th George III Sheraton period mahogany sideboard of breakfront form with bow-front centre .
Elegant Georgian period sideboard of restrained design and compact scale and proportions. The whole having achieved an exceptional faded colour and patina. The top cross-banded , the edges with box-wood strung inlay .
Fitted unusual pull-out slides to each side beneath the top and fitted with a cellarette or bottle store to right-hand side as a simulated 'double' drawer. Standing on tapering square-section legs with tall spade feet.
Fitted with a brass rail back with classical urn finials, and with possible old replacement brass-ring handles .
In excellent original condition with some historic marks and stains to the commensurate with age, use and purpose.
